Intermodal & Freight Rail
CN Rail lines travel through the north-west area of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville in the Vandorf/Ram Forest industrial area.
Access to intermodal facilities is available at the Vaughan Intermodal freight terminal located 0.5 hours south-east of Whitchurch-Stouffville. The CPR facility, built in 1991, caters for truck to train loads and can handle 700,000 container movements annually.

Buttonville Airport (located in Markham)
Buttonville has been a landmark since 1962 and has grown to be one of the most complete general aviation airports in Ontario. Located just north of the highway 7, 404 interchange, the airport is conveniently located to serve York Region and Toronto. Buttonville has become a major port of entry for international air traffic from the United States. It is a general aviation facility located to act as a satellite or reliever airport to Lester B. Pearson International Airport at Malton. In terms of servicing, private and commercial aircraft can operate on runways at Buttonville that are just under 4500 feet.
