In October, 2004 the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville implemented an Emergency Response Plan to deal with major emergencies that may occur within our community.
It is important that residents of our community are prepared for the unexpected, as disasters can happen at any time. Everyone should have an emergency plan in place, and enough supplies on hand to enable them to take care of themselves and their family for a period of at least three days, in the event of an emergency.
In partnership with the Region of York, an Emergency Preparedness Guide has been prepared which will assist you
in being ready for an emergency situation. Please click here “Emergency Preparedness Guide" to view a copy of the Emergency Preparedness
