Where do I register
for programs?
For your convenience, all registrations are now done at the Lebovic Leisure
Centre.
How do I know if I get in my class?
For quick processing registration night, you are asked to request 3
class choices and leave your form, with payment, which is numbered and
processed in order. Forms are processed that night and confirmations
are mailed out within a week. After registration night, confirmations
are given to you when you register. PLEASE CALL US IF YOU HAVE NOT
RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS.
I did not receive a confirmation letter for programs. Should I attend the first class?
Although we try to get all the confirmation letters out prior to the
first class, they sometimes do not make it on time. If you do not
receive your confirmation one
week prior to the first day of lessons, please contact our registration desk at 905-642-PLAY (7529) ext. “0” to confirm dates and times
of the classes.
What if the class I want is full?
Should your choice be full, you will be placed on a waitlist. We make
every effort to accommodate our waitlists. Waitlists do change
constantly due to
transfers, cancellations and the addition of new classes. Should a spot
become available, you will be contacted by our Customer Service staff.
If a message
is left for you on an answering machine you will be given 48 hours to
contact us to confirm you want that spot. If we do not hear from you
within 48 hours
we will contact the next person on the waitlist.
Can I transfer my class to another day/time?
Transfers are accepted is space is available. We will not accept any transfers until one week after registration begins.
Why did my program get cancelled?
If there are not enough registrations for a class it will be cancelled.
The decision to cancel a class is made approximately one week prior to
the start
of classes. We will try to place you elsewhere, but is a transfer is
not possible, you will be given a full refund. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY TO
AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
Is there a Refund Policy?
If you withdraw from a program or cancel your membership, you will
receive a refund based on the program fee minus a $10 administration
fee per person,
per program. All refunds will be prorated from the time the refund
request is received IN WRITING, which can de done by fax, mail, email
or in person.
If your program gets cancelled, you will receive a FULL refund. Refund
requests will not be accepted after a program ends or a membership
expires. There
will be a $10 replacement cost for membership cards.
Can you accommodate someone with Special Needs?
We strongly
believe that it is important for everyone to participate in Leisure
activities. We will make every effort to integrate individuals with
special
needs into our programs whenever it is safe and enjoyable for all
participants.
How can I find out about changes to programs and schedules?
Although we do try our best to ensure that all the information in the
guide and web site is correct, sometimes we will miss something. Check
the Town of
Whitchurch-Stouffville notice board each Thursday in your Stouffville
Sun-Tribune for changes or you can join our email updates list by
