On behalf of all Members of Council, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the website for the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville – the “friendliest town in Ontario”!   This site offers you the opportunity to meet Council, explore the Town’s services and programs, and provides you with up-to-date information about our municipality.

Whitchurch-Stouffville is located a short thirty-minute drive northeast of Toronto.  Here you can explore the Town’s picturesque hamlets, rolling hills and walking trails, lakes and picnic areas. Whether you are visiting or an area resident, take time to visit our wineries and horse farms; enjoy fishing, and take in some golfing at one of our many outstanding golf courses.

Throughout the year, the Town hosts many special events.  The highlight of our summer is the Strawberry Festival which includes our Canada Day celebrations.  On New Year’s Eve a family oriented gathering is held in Memorial Park with a giant bonfire, special treats for the children, and the festivities closing with a spectacular fireworks display.
