  Clerk's Department Back 
 

The Clerk's Department functions as the "administrative service" department within the municipality. The department is responsible for ensuring that the decisions and directions of Council are implemented as required, including the preparation of minutes, agendas and correspondence emanating from Council.

In addition, many of the functions performed in the Clerk's Department are statutory duties sanctioned by the Province.
