The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum is located in the historic hamlet of Vandorf, in the northwest portion of our municipality. First established in 1971 in Bogarttown, the Museum has since moved to a 2 acre site adjacent to the Holland River and scenic Vandorf Park. The Museum site includes five historic buildings which depict our community's rural home life and childhood of the 19th century.

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum provides our community with a responsible yet accessible repository for artifacts of local significance. Through the Museum's preservation and programming activities, Museum visitors are provided with a diverse range of opportunities
to enjoy unique, authentic and entertaining educational experiences about our past. By celebrating our rich and diverse local heritage, the Museum continues to serve as a showcase
for community pride.

Due to the anticipated start of construction for the new Visitor/Community Centre at the Museum, the facility will be closed beginning March 22nd until May 19th, 2010
