P.A. Day Workshop – Introduction to the New Museum and Community Centre
Come and spend the day exploring our new facility! Get a behind-the-scene look at your Museum while participating in an assortment of hands-on activities, crafts, cooking and games. Just perfect for children aged 8 – 12!
Pre-registration is required and participants must bring their own nut-free lunch. Cost $40.00 ($32.00 for Museum members)

A chance to really experience life as it was more than 100 years ago! Visit the Log Cabin and try your hand at some Pioneer chores. Help prepare treats in the Farmhouse Kitchen. Complete your lessons on a slate in the 19th century classroom. Activities change with the season. Admission is free, donations gratefully accepted.

REACH Day for Girl Guides
What was Ontario like during the 1800s? Brownies and Guides will participate in a series of unique hands-on activities that will provide them with the opportunity to Really Experience Authentic Cultural Heritage and earn badges! Activities will take place in the Museum’s historic buildings and can be used to meet various badge requirements. Each troop will participate in a program that will run for a minimum of 1½ hours. Admission: $4.00 per participant. Please call for a start time for your group or for more information.

A Candlelight Christmas
Join our costumed staff on this enchanting evening tour! Explore the development of Christmas traditions while sampling 19th-century foods, entertainment and decorations in our Pioneer Log Cabin and Victorian Farmhouse. Enjoy a horse-drawn hay ride and then warm up with hot apple cider and traditional baking. Book early as there is limited space for this event. Adults: $15.00 Children under 12: $10.00
