During the first part of 2012, the Museum will be open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY until the construction of the new building is completed. Research appointments may still be possible, but MUST BE RESERVED. The research fee is $10.00 including HST.

You can show your interest and support for local heritage preservation by becoming a member of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum. Benefits of membership include: Semi-annual newsletter and membership card, free admission to the Museum, discounted admission to special events, 20% discount on adult and children's workshops or programs, 10% discount on all purchases in the Museum Gift Shop, free access to the Museum's Archives and Reference Library, invitations to "members only" events such as exhibit openings.

Types of Membership:
Individual $17.50 plus HST per year
Dual $35.00 plus HST per year
Family $42.00 plus HST per year
Youth $10.00 plus HST per year

Membership forms can be picked up at the Museum, the Town Offices, the Library and the Train Station on Main Street. They are also available by mail, upon request.

The FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM (FOM) is a volunteer group of Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum members, dedicated to providing support for all Museum functions. The purpose of the FOM is to promote public interest in and support of the Museum, to foster growth of the Museum's collections, to increase the use of the Museum's services and facilities, and to support the Museum's annual operations.

Each year, the FOM runs two fundraising events: From Tree to Treat, a Maple syrup brunch in the spring and the Victorian Tea before Christmas. The FOM also operates a Tea Garden during the Museum's summer special events. These activities enable the FOM to generously contribute financial support towards the Museum's annual operating costs.
