York Region Transit (YRT) provides bus service within Whitchurch-Stouffville. A current schedule is on their web-site at www.yorkregiontransit.com

Several YRT/Viva service changes will be going into effect on September 2, 2007. Below is a summary of the changes for Whitchurch-Stouffville. All revised schedules are available at www.yrt.ca under the Service Updates section.

Whitchurch-Stouffville Service Changes – Effective September 2, 2007

• Route 9 – 9th Line
- Route 9A – Stouffville via 9th Line will be changed to Route 9 – 9th Line.
- New Route 9 – 9th Line will operate along 9th Line between Parkview Village and Markham Stouffville Hospital.
- Route 9 – 9th Line will make timed transfers with NEW Route 15 – Stouffville Local at Parkview Village.
- For additional service in Stouffville please see NEW Route 15 – Stouffville Local, NEW Route 215 – Stouffville GO Shuttle or NEW Route 415 – Stouffville High School Special.

• NEW Route 15 – Stouffville Local
- Route 9 – Stouffville via Main St. will be changed to NEW Route 15 – Stouffville Local.
- NEW Route 15 – Stouffville Local will provide service along Hoover Park Dr. and Main St. Stouffville and will provide service to Parkview Village, Lebovic Leisure Centre and Eastern Gate.
- Routing along Main St. Stouffville will provide one-way eastbound service from Hwy. 48 to 9th Line.
- There will be two-way service along Main St. Stouffville between 9th Line and Eastern Gate.
- Route 15 will service Wal-Mart using the bus stop on Hoover Park Dr.
- The bus stop at Wal-Mart will no longer be serviced.
- Route 15 will make timed transfers with Route 9 – 9th Line at Parkview Village.

• NEW Route 215 – Stouffville GO Shuttle
- Former Route 9A peak period routing will become the NEW Route 215 – Stouffville GO Shuttle.
- NEW Route 215 – Stouffville GO Shuttle will connect to Stouffville GO Train Station during weekday peak periods.
• NEW Route 415 – Stouffville High School
- The NEW Route 415 will serve Stouffville High School in the morning and afternoon.
