The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is undertaking a comprehensive zoning by-law review. The draft by-law would affects all lands in the Town and would replace existing Zoning By-laws 87-34 and 72-7 in their entirety with a singular harmonized by-law containing a minimal number of exceptions. The draft by-law contains contemporary zoning and parking standards for all types of uses. The by-law is intended to bring the zoning in the Town into conformity with the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Official Plan.

By-law 2010-001-ZO was passed by Town Council on Tuesday March 2, 2010.

By-Law 2010-001-ZO has been appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board and is pending final approval. In the interim, the provisions of Zoning By-Laws 87-34 and 72-7 remain in force and effect.
